Fellowship Programs

Learn more about the Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship Program Phoenix Children’s.

The Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Fellowship Program at Phoenix Children’s Hospital are dedicated to providing the knowledge and clinical skills necessary to practice high-quality, state-of-the-art pediatric endocrinology and diabetes management. This program meets the ACGME requirements to fulfill the needs of fellows who anticipate careers in the clinical practice of this specialty, either as clinician-educators or physician-scientist in clinical, translational, and/or basic research.

The program has been accredited by the ACGME since 1999 and we currently accept up to two fellows per year. Fellows have access to pursue an advanced degree through the University of Arizona and are encouraged to become members of the faculty at local medical schools.

Phoenix Children’s has the largest pediatric endocrinology and diabetes program in Arizona, serving more than 6,400 children (and their families) each year. Our Endocrinology division includes 17 dedicated faculty members, a Ph.D. research director, a research coordinator, and a team of Certified Diabetes Educators, endocrine nurses, and Registered Dieticians.
