As a pediatrician, Kajal Patel, MD, cares for her patients from birth into adulthood.

While volunteering on a medical mission during college, Dr. Patel was inspired to see nurses and doctors help so many children in need. She also worked closely with children during an internship at a daycare. Becoming a pediatrician combined Dr. Patel's interest in science and her joy for watching children grow and develop. Dr. Patel loves working as part of the Phoenix Children's group of physicians dedicated to providing all children access to quality primary and specialty care services.

After earning her medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Dr. Patel completed a pediatric internship and residency at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine/Children's Hospital of Orange County. Dr. Patel is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Patel treats every patient with compassion, respect and integrity, while working with families to ensure their child's best health. She takes time to listen and know patients and families in order to provide care tailored to their needs. Dr. Patel focuses on helping her patients establish healthy habits at a young age.

When she's not working, Dr. Patel enjoys cooking with her family. She also loves the serenity of nature, spending time hiking and gardening.
