Patient and Family Advisory Councils
Your Visit
At Phoenix Children’s, we’re committed to constantly improving patient care and giving every child and family the best health care experience possible — and you can help. If your child or loved one has been a patient of Phoenix Children’s Hospital or at any location in our network, there are many ways you can provide input and help us learn from your experience.
The first step: Applying to become a member of a Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC).
A PFAC is a diverse group of patients, parents, family members and caregivers of loved ones receiving care at a Phoenix Children’s facility. The goal is to ensure patients and families are engaged in the decision-making processes that affect quality of care, safety and the overall patient experience.
We have ten PFACs:
- Alumni
- Ambulatory
- Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD)
- Children’s Advisory Board (patients and siblings, ages 12-18)
- Cystic Fibrosis
- Gender Proud
- Heart Center
- Neonatology
- Neuroscience
- Inpatient
We encourage you to apply to participate in a PFAC and are thankful for the many patient and family members who want to be involved and share their journey. Please keep in mind, we strive to create a diverse set of members in each PFAC and therefore, we cannot accept all applicants. Thank you for applying and we will be in-touch soon!
